What's collected
- Calculator numbers: stay in your browser. They appear in the page address so you can share a result, and are not sent to us.
- Your last commission setting: saved in your browser's local storage so you don't retype it. Clear it any time by clearing site data.
- Where you came from: if you arrive from a link tagged with a source (e.g. from Threads), that tag is held in session storage for your visit and attached to any OddsMonkey link you click. It's gone when you close the tab.
- Affiliate clicks: when you click a
/go/link we log the page, the button, the month, the source tag and your rough country. No IP address, no device ID. - Site analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, local storage or fingerprinting, and doesn't track you across sites.
- Hosting logs: Cloudflare processes your IP address to serve and protect the site, as any host does.
Lawful basis
Legitimate interests: running the site, keeping it secure, and knowing which pages are useful. The local and session storage above is used only to provide features you're using.
Third parties
- Cloudflare hosts the site.
- OddsMonkey: once you click through, OddsMonkey's own privacy policy and cookies apply, including the affiliate cookie that credits the referral.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Given how little we collect, there's usually nothing that identifies you. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
